Royal Wootton Bassett Town drew 4-4 away at Kintbury Rangers in their latest friendly.
Despite the foul weather, both sides put on a show with Bassett's goals coming courtesy of Matt Bennett, Alan Griffin, Sam Packer and an own goal.
On target for Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division Kintbury - managed by former Bassett forward Danny Langford - were Carl Jenner, Terry Patten, Will Frank and Jack Afonso.
The results means Bassett's three friendlies against step seven opposition have yielded a win, a draw and a defeat - a record that is perhaps below expectations. However, the game represented another useful test for Sam Collier in his side as they enter the final week before the new season kicks off.
Up next are a pair of friendlies against Hellenic League Division One opponents. First up is Tuesday's visit to newly promoted Devizes Town before the final warm up fixture at home against Hartpury University on Saturday.
